Laboratory

Participants have individual training positions at their disposal, each fitted with software and hardware adjusted to the particular courses.

The training position consists of many elements used on particular levels. The main elements of software and hardware used during the courses are as follows:

PCs with WinCC flexible
PLC SIEMENS SIMATIC S7-300 controllers
SIMATIC OP177B operator panels
Digital input/output modules and input/output signal simulators (switches)
Analog input/output modules and input/output signal simulators (potentiometer)

Software

WinCC flexible 2008 is software for use with SIMATIC HMI panels, from the smallest Micro Panels to PCs. It allows creating all types of applications, from the simplest visualizations for basic panels to complicated users interfaces launched on the devices with extensive capabilities.

Possibility of integration with Step7 makes WInCC flexible and SIEMENS operator panels another SIMATIC component expanding capabilities of application designers and programmers. Logical connection of the controlling software projects and operator panel is a huge convenience for services maintaining the installation at the same time increasing coherence of the whole project.
