Laboratory
Participants have individual training positions at their disposal, where they perform industrial tasks based on Siemens S7-300/400 controllers. The training position consists of the PLC fitted with analog and digital input/output modules combined with a digital and analog signal simulator. Additionally, each controller is connected with the lab station (basic or advanced) fitted with actual elements applied in the industry.
The positions are fitted with:
SIEMENS S3-300 controller with the programming device including:- 8 buttons inducing input signals
- Potentiometer regulating the analog input voltage
- LCD displaying analog input voltage
- LCD displaying analog output voltage

Software
SIMATIC WinCC is a SCADA system used for visualization and control of industrial processes. It is applied in all branches of industry starting with single workstations to distributed systems with redundant servers and cross-connect systems. The basic system configuration includes such standard functions as: displaying and acknowledgment of messages, archiving communicates and measured quantities, log creation, data configuration, administration and visualization.
Win CC is a flexible and universal tool suite. The integrated creator enables quick and pleasant configuration. The solution allowing multi-language applications creation (switching the language while working) which is available for small production lines as well as huge industrial installations make Win CC a perfect tool. What optimizes the work even more is the possibility of integrating the software with others (like MS SQL Server 2005 or VBA) and using the ActiveX or OLE indicators.
