SIEMENS DRIVE SYSTEMS
Operation principles, selection, implementation, configuration, maintenance of the electric Siemens Sinamics and Micromaster drive systems.
The Engineering Training Center offers trainings in implementing, optimizing and diagnostics of the Siemens electric drive systems.
Trainings in drive systems are intended for everyone who wants to gain basic knowledge of the implementation and maintenance of Siemens frequency inverters and are particularly addressed to maintenance services, automation engineers and energy engineers.
Objectives and content
Participants of the courses in Siemens electric drive systems: Siemens Micromaster 4 and Siemens Sinamics G120 will acquire the following knowledge and skills:
- Operation principles of the frequency inverters
- Functionality of the selected frequency inverters (Micromaster 4 or Sinamics G120)
- Parameterization methods using control panels and STARTER software
- Methods of diagnosing frequency inverters
- Methods of controlling drive systems using controller’s I/O modules or via PROFIBUS DP network
The main objective of this training is preparing the participants to work with the selected series of Siemens drive systems through mastering methods of implementation, control and diagnostics of those systems during practical exercises.
Individual training positions
Participants have at their disposal individual training positions designed to learn the tasks and industrial solutions based on the electrical drives using frequency converters. Each position is fitted with a frequency inverter featuring digital and analog signal simulator. Each converter is connected to the asynchronous electric motor.
