TIA Portal – integrated design environment
In spring of 2016, the Engineering Training Center EMT-Systems has delivered a cycle of free training workshops as part of the campaign EMT TOUR – We share our knowledge. This time, the main theme was TIA Portal – integrated design environment..
Speakers for the workshops were known and valued industrial automation experts from EMT-Systems and Siemens Polska. This time, they had 3 opportunities to share their knowledge and experience with the participants. The pation of the Science and Technology Park TECHNOPARK Gliwice filled with conversations about designing and programming controllers in TIA Portal. Participants of the workshops had a chance to see the training workstations designed by experts from EMT-Systems and SIEMENS logic controllers.
Media patronage over the event was provided by the magazine Służby Utrzymania Ruchu [Maintenance Services Magazine] published by FORUM MEDIA POLSKA.
After the holidays we plan to organize new training workshops and for now you may read the latest articles that we have published in trade journals as part of our campaign „We share our knowledge”.

Ceremony of awarding 2016 European Medals
On June 8, 2016 in the Grand Theatre – National Opera in Warsaw was held a ceremony of awarding European Medals. The hosts of the celebrations were: Marek Goliszewski, Chairman of BCC, prof. Grażyna Majcher-Magdziak, Chair of the Verification Commissions, Member of the Council of Organizers, General Leon Komornicki and Secretary of State in the Ministry of Development, Minister Jerzy Kwieciński. CEO of EMT-Systems, Grzegorz Wszołek PhD Eng. Personally accepted the Medal awarded for the training „CNC1: CNC operator/programmer”.
European Medal is a Poland-wide initiative that has been organized by BCC for 16 years under auspices of the European Economic and Social Committee. The primary aim of the initiative is recognition and promotion of products and services offered by the companies operating in Poland.
The award that we were given is a proof that the services we provide conform to European standards. We owe it to our international cooperation, introducing training services to international market, dynamic development of the company and most of all to you. Thank you! Participation in an automation conference in Production Plants
The basic area for the optimization of production processes has become automation. Therefore, a technical conference organized by Axon Media on June 1st in Katowice as part of the cycle Automation in the Production Plants raised signification interest of participants. We had this honor to be among lecturers at this event and our company was represented by Jacek Barcik, MSc Eng., who gave a lecture entitled: CAN/CANopen: industry – motorization – special equipment. We would like to thank for the rewarding time and invite you to next events with EMT-Systems!

Science and Industry Day
On May 20th in the Science and Technology Park „Technopark Gliwice” a VII edition of Science and Industry Day was held. Again, we had an opportunity to share our knowledge and experience with future engineers and representatives of science, industry and business. At our stall, we presented equipment that we use during training courses.

National Congress of Maintenance Services Ruchu Pol Maintenance Warsaw
It is our pleasure to inform that we have yet again co-organized the National Congress of Maintenance Services. XI edition of this prestigious event was an opportunity to present the examples of non-standard implementation of reliability strategies and UR support systems. It was a time of many inspirations, analysis of new products and exchange of opinions. Thank you and see you next year!

EMT-TOUR 2015: – Effective utilization of CNC machines and machine tools – summary of the workshops
On 30 October and 18 September training workshops within EMT TOUR, entitled:
Functionality of the latest CNC systems
and modern machine tools
were held.
Both workshops focused on the aspects of CNC machines and gathered 100 participants. Besides lectures delivered by EMT-Systems specialists, we also hosted representatives of the experienced companies such as Siemens, Eurolaser, imes icore Polska, Euroluid, Romatex and Perschmann. EMT-Systems is a company that originated from Silesia, but it is nationally recognized and operates throughout the entire country. EMT-Tour 2015: Siemens drive technologies – summary of the workshops
On April 24th, May 29th and June 26th training workshops within EMT TOUR, entitled:
MODERN SIEMENS DRIVE TECHNOLOGIES
IN PRACTICAL INDUSTRIAL APPLICATIONS
were held.
Media patronage over the event was taken by the magazine Utrzymanie Ruchu published by Elamed Media Group.
During these meetings, participants had a chance to learn about the solutions of the most common problems encountered while working with electric drives and the latest hardware applications in this respect.
Three editions of the event gathered:
- 163 representatives of manufacturing and maintenance services
- 56 enterprises and institutions
The topic of the event, which was Modern drive technologies based on the solutions provided by our trusted partner – Siemens Drive Technologies, attracted many specialists, who actively participated in discussions and practical activities. Lecturers from Siemens – Grzegorz Drabik and Wojciech Flok, as well as specialists from EMT-Systems – PhD, Eng Mariusz Hetmańczyk and Andrzej Kasprzycki presented current tendencies on the market and problems with implementing drive technologies.
Workshops were also an opportunity to personally meet representatives of our Center, visit our training rooms, laboratories and see the equipment used for training courses.
Amongst all participants, we have drawn the winners of free training courses in our Center.

Engineering Mechatronic Training TOUR 2015
We would like to inform that in view of constant development and gaining new engineering skills, in 2015 we initiated a series of free training workshops under the common name of:
Engineering Mechatronic Training TOUR 2015
TOUR is the result of many years of our experience in training engineering staff. We aim to encourage to improve practical skills, not only during several days of courses and workshops, but also at cyclical, one-day workshops.
EMT TOUR means:
- FREE CYCLICAL training workshops dedicated to the current problems, innovations and practical solutions
- Renowned experts and lecturers – implementation engineers, designers, automation engineers, mechanical engineers, representatives of manufacturing
- Topics matching the needs of manufacturing industry and maintenance services – control systems, automation control, drive systems, power hydraulics, industrial pneumatics, CNC machining

Certificate awarded by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Katowice
Our company has been accepted among members of the 
Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Katowice and given membership number 1742.
At the meeting organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Katowice, EMT-Systems Ltd. was granted a certificate and title of a member of the Chamber of CCI in Katowice.
Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Katowice was established in 1990 and is an organization of economic self-government which associates business entities.
Principal aims and tasks of the Chamber is representing economic interests of entrepreneurs associated in the Chamber and assistance in solving economic, organizational and legal problems in running their business activities. Besides its principal tasks, it also pursues promotional activities for the benefit of its members, represents interests of entrepreneurs, employers and undertakes the activities aiming to activate the Chamber’s members and maximize the potential of their enterprises.
All enterprises with CCI membership are listed on the website of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Katowice.

“Enterprise of the Future 2015” Final Gala of the second edition of the National Business Certification Program
On February 25th, in the auditorium of Collegium Novum, 
at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków, was held a Final Gala of the second edition of the National Business Certification Program “Enterprise of the Future”, organized by the Foundation for the Development of Education and Higher Education and the PRC Agency. We are very pleased to inform you that our Center was recognized by the jury committee of the program as “2015 Company of the Future”, and the CEO of EMT-Systems, PhD. Grzegorz Wszołek, received the prestigious award in the category “Promoter of Culture and Science”.
Certificate “2015 Company of the Future” confirms our compliance with the highest standards in the field of management, and management of intellectual capital in particular. We have been recognized as a modern, creative and flexible company that is managed with passion and has a clear vision of the future.
EMT-Systems was listed in the category “a company that employs 11 to 50 employees”. As part of the evaluation procedure, reviewers analyzed the company’s self-assessment questionnaire, information obtained from entities monitoring the credibility of enterprises, messages obtained from external stakeholders of the company and other information about the enterprise. The evaluation of EMT-Systems has been performed by two independent members of the Certification Committee.
It was assessed that one of the strengths of EMT-Systems is a well-developed infrastructure, which plays a key role in ensuring high-quality professional services. Therefore, we fell proud and certain in providing our trainees with carefully designed workstations used during trainings. In the Commission’s opinion, our staff and infrastructure, through their effective use, are measurable value for the company, imply strong demand for its services and allow sharing knowledge and teaching skills that correspond to highly formatted needs in the field of automation and mechatronics. Knowledge, skills and competencies of our employees and trainers were recognized as the indisputable asset of our company.

EMT-Systems in the Book of Lists 2014/2015 ranking
It is our great pleasure to inform you that the Engineering Training Center EMT-Systems Ltd. was included in the prestigious ranking of innovative enterprises Book of Lists 2014/2015.
Book of Lists is a complete database for business in Poland. It has been on the market for over 15 years, contains catalogs and ranking lists of over 2,000 enterprises and institutions in over 75 categories. It allows fast access to information and rankings of the key players on the market. It is available in both printed and interactive versions.
This year’s list includes two new categories: Polish Technology Parks and Innovative Enterprises in Technology Parks. Our development partner – Science and Technology Park Technopark Gliwice was included in the first of the mentioned lists, and the Engineering Training Center EMT-Systems Ltd. together with other enterprises from the Park – in the other list. In this publication, you may read about the scope of our activities, a range of our training courses and their topics, as well as about ISO standards that our Center complies with and granted awards and distinctions.
