Participants have individual training station at his disposal, designed to learn industrial tasks and solutions based on the use of the Siemens S7-1200 controller. The training station consists of a controller equipped with digital and analog input / output modules connected to digital and analog input and output signals simulator. Additionally, each controller is connected to an actuator with a valve manifold, manipulator, a set of sensors informing about the end positions of the cylinders and impulse buttons.

The positions are fitted with:

• 75 KB memory
• 14 digital inputs (6 may be used  as fast counters)
• 10 digital outputs (4 fast outputs, 100 kHz)
• 2 analogue inputs
• Integrated ETHERNET - PROFINET
• Each controller is fitted with a module SB1232 including one analog output with a resolution of 12 bits

• 6 buttons inducing input signals
• Potentiometer regulating the analog input voltage

Our equipment allows the participants to perform tasks based on the actual elements applied in industrial automation. It is also planned to include some additional equipment such as different types of sensors (optic, induction, capacitive, pressure and flow sensors) and frequency converters with electric motors.

SIMATIC S7-1200 is a new modular industrial controller for small to medium-size applications. What was emphasized in the design process of this system was the communication of the SIMATIC HMI panels with the S7-1200 PLC to make it most efficient regarding data transfer as well as the clarity and intuitiveness of the application project. This becomes especially evident in the management of variables in the application project. The system enables single declaration of variables for both the visualization part and the controller part of the project. It also makes it possible to shift the variables easily between the design devices – all within one project data base. This helps to avoid the numerous errors in the applications.

Our tutors are industrial representatives with a vast practical experience in implementation and engineering projects. Their main focus is on passing knowledge of the real examples of problems encountered in their everyday work. They have implemented many systems and conducted a number of courses.

Participants of the course in PLC Siemens S7-1200 programming receive a 200-page textbook. Additionally, participants have a possibility of printing the programs they have developed.
