Energy purchase strategies and decarbonisation
Course aim:
After completing the training, the participant:- Is able to plan a purchasing strategy for electricity and gas
- Has knowledge of the factors influencing energy prices on the Polish and European markets
- Knows the basic methodologies of risk management in energy purchases
- Is aware of the different types of cPPA contracts
- Understands the mechanisms of operation of cPPA contracts and is able to determine the impact of this type of products on the electricity portfolio
- Knows available ways to decarbonize the electricity portfolio (Scope 2) and fuel portfolio (Scope 1) and understands the issues of decarbonization of the supply chain (Scope 3)
