Course aim:
After completing the training, the participant:- Knows the basic concepts and definitions used in measurement
- Is able to identify sensors and measuring transducers of basic quantities measured in industry
- Knows the physical basis of measuring selected quantities
- Knows the structure and operating principle of selected physical quantities sensors (temperature, pressure, flow, level, displacement, force)
- Conditions signals and measuring paths for selected measuring sensors
- Is able to select sensors and measuring transducers in selected applications
- Configures communication with intelligent measuring transducers, creates measuring systems and networks

- Electricians currently or in the future dealing with continuous processes
- System integrators and designers modifying or creating process systems
