Course aim:
After completing the training, the participant:- Knows the types of tolerance chain analyses
- Is able to adapt the tolerance chain calculation method to the design and assembly process
- Is able to determine and calculate critical tolerance chains
- Is able to optimize the design for tolerances
- Is able to define the design according to the principle of the shortest tolerance chain
- Understands the assumptions and is able to apply statistical tolerance analysis
- Is able to determine the root cause of a design problem using tolerance chain analysis
