Visual assessment of bonded joints

Course Aim:

After completing the training, the participant:

Recognizes and classifies welding imperfections in accordance with the PN-EN ISO 6520 standard and knows their causes
Knows non-destructive testing (NDT) methods, including visual testing (VT), ultrasonic testing (UT), radiographic testing (RT), penetrant testing (PT), tightness testing, and magnetic particle testing (MT)
Performs visual assessment of welds (VT) in accordance with the PN-EN ISO 9712, 5817, and 13919 standards
Selects appropriate equipment for visual testing and knows its capabilities and limitations
Interprets test results and creates correct visual test reports in accordance with the normative requirements

Target Group:

The training is intended for welders, quality controllers, welding inspectors, and engineers and technologists involved in the supervision of welding processes. It is addressed to both people with experience in welding and those who want to gain or expand their knowledge of visual weld assessment methods in accordance with applicable standards. The training will be particularly useful for people preparing for certification as a visual testing inspector (VT).

Our experts

The lecturer is an experienced welder, holding international certificates IWE (International Welding Engineer) and IWI (International Welding Inspector). He specializes in non-destructive testing (VT2, PT2, MT2, RT2) and has experience in both industry and academic work. He combines practical knowledge with the latest technical standards, which allows him to effectively convey information tailored to the real needs of engineers and technicians.

In addition to the substantive aspect, the comfort of our training participants is very important to us. We provide students with a climatic cafe and restaurant space, which is a place for refreshments and relaxation during breaks. We invite you to use the coffee bar and the modern massage chair!

During each training day, participants receive:

Unlimited access to the Cechownia Cafe coffee bar, serving tea and high-quality freshly ground coffee. The bar is equipped with:
- NECTO Karisma - a professional espresso machine of Italian production.
- THERMOPLAN BW 4 - a professional espresso machine made in Switzerland.
These are coffee machines used in the best coffee shops. According to your taste, we serve unique types of coffee - Cappuccino, Espresso, Americano, Caffe Latte and Turkish coffee. Training participants can also use unlimited sparkling and still water, juices and sweets.

Two-course dinner - a combination of traditional, home-made flavors with meals served in restaurants.
