Revision of the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC - 2023/1233 Regulation, NIS 2 Directive and AI Act Directive
Course aim:
After completing the training, the participant:- Knows in detail the schedule for introducing EU regulations in the area of machines, Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity
- Knows the system of administrative penalties introduced by the new Act on Conformity Assessment Systems of 2016 introducing the provisions of the EU NLF system
- Knows the new regulations introduced in Poland and the EU regarding Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity in the area related to the revision of the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC
- Knows the new definitions introduced in Poland and the EU related to the modernization and integration of machines, software of machines and unfinished machines
- Knows the new, extended categories of industries that are subject to the new Cybersecurity Directive (NIS 2)
- Knows what new documents will have to be attached to machines from October 18, 2024 (Security certificates resulting from NIS 2)
- Has knowledge of the completely new system of administrative penalties introduced by the NIS 2 Directive

Decision-makers in the company responsible for:- policy for purchasing new machines and IT technologies
- introducing Cybersecurity policy in the area defined by the NIS 2 Directive
- modernization processes of machines and production lines
- carrying out preliminary acceptance tests of machines and technical devices after their installation and before they are put into operation for the first time
- conducting risk assessments related to the introduction of new technology, especially in the area of threats resulting from software using artificial intelligence
- conducting Cybersecurity risk assessments

- Knowledge of the procedures for assessing the conformity of machines in accordance with the requirements of the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC
- Knowledge of the definitions, classifications and exclusions of the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC< /li>
- Knowledge of conformity assessment procedures for the so-called machines of particular risk presented in Annex IV of the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC
- Basic knowledge of the Act on the Conformity Assessment and Market Surveillance System of 2002
