Course Aim:
After completing the training, the participant:- Distinguishes between soldering methods based on temperature, process metallurgy, and heat sources
- Identifies the advantages and disadvantages of different soldering techniques
- Knows the structure of a soldered joint
- Defines the phenomena of wettability, capillarity, diffusion, adhesion, and cohesion
- Independently determines the properties and applications of soft and hard solders
- Understands the influence of controlled atmospheres on the soldering process
- Knows the methods of proper preparation of surfaces and soldered elements
- Knows the construction of different types of soldered joints
- Diagnoses soldered joint defects in accordance with PN-EN ISO 18279 standards
- Identifies the causes of soldering defects
- Knows the principles of hard soldering technology in accordance with PN-EN 13134
- Determines the quality level in accordance with applicable standards
